What is Collagen Induction Therapy?
Collagen Induction Therapy (also known as skin needling or dermal needling) is scientifically proven to target the cells that are responsible for producing collagen and elastin by stimulating the skin’s natural healing process. This instigates the regeneration of your skin cells, awakens the fibroblast that lies within the deeper layers of your skin to product new and healthy collagen, which effectively tightens skin and minimises fine lines & wrinkles.
How will it improve my skin?
By encouraging the formation of new collagen and elastin, your skin’s overall structure, function and appearance will be greatly improved.
You can expect healthy, glowing skin from this rejuvenating treatment.

Who does this treatment suit?
CIT is suitable for most people however we will only preform CIT on skin with a healthy, balanced acid mantle.
What happens during a treatment?
The skin is cleansed and prepped and a cooling gel is applied to the skin.
The skin is thoroughly treated in separate sections. An even flushing is the best indication for a perfect medical grade treatment. Your skin will appear flushed (pink to red) which may last for 12 to 24 hours on average. Most clients are able to return to work that same day with the help from some our Deco mineral make-up.
The treatment takes approximately 45 minutes. In total allow 60 mins for your appointment. Please arrive with no makeup on.
How much is a course?
CIT treatments cost $250 per treatment which includes your 30 minute Derma Enzyme Facial 3 days after your treatment.
You can also purchase a MTS home roller for $149.
Your therapist will teach you how to roll your skin at home and you will also receive your homecare roller kit with everything you need to keep your roller in tip top condition.
How many treatments do i need and how often?
Multiple sessions are recommended depending on the condition of the skin as well as the size of the area being treated. A course of 4 treatments is recommended for Skin Rejuvenation. Your appointment time is usually 1 hours and treatments are done 6 weeks apart.
What will my skin look like immediately after the treatment?
You will experience mild sensitivity, inflammation and redness after treatment – these are signs that the fine micro needles have penetrated the epidermis. The tiny perforations in the skin close within minutes and the sensitivity and redness is gone in 2 to 5 hours. In very rare cases, bruising may occur. Plan your day to be quiet and stay out of the sun. There is generally no downtime and clients usually return to work within 12 to 24 hours.
It is recommended that you follow up your treatment with Dermaviduals homecare. For even better results pair this with an MTS .2mm or .3mm Roller– home rolling can commence whenever the sensitivity/redness is alleviated. We recommend rolling two times per week to begin, slowly building up to every night.
Your therapist will teach you how to roll and the best way to care for your roller.
